The evaluations of the 19 workshops conducted as part of the participation phase of cultural development planning have been published. From March to June 2023, all of Frankfurt’s cultural actors were invited to participate in the workshops and to explore ideas for the further development of Frankfurt’s cultural landscape guided by a number of key questions. The individual formats focused on different cultural policy topics and issues. At the “kep.barcamp” in the Studierendenhaus/Open House of Cultures, participants were also invited to contribute their own topics to the process. The workshops were moderated by Dr. Patrick S. Föhl together with staff from the Office of Cultural Affairs.
In total, over 1,000 workshop places were assigned to more than 500 cultural actors, who participated in the three-hour events on topics such as the opening of cultural institutions, cultural education, inclusion, ecological sustainability, digitality and cultural funding. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this great commitment once again. The results of these workshops will now be incorporated into the drafting of proposals for cultural policy measures in the conception phase that is now beginning.
