Between 2022 and 2023, as part of the city’s cultural development planning, statistical data on visitors were collected at seven cultural institutions in Frankfurt. Among other things, the survey included, the visitors’ place of residence, the percentage of visitors with a family history of migration, age, gender, educational experience and cultural interests of the visitors as well as the use of promotional media and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the cultural institutions.
The results of the survey, that was conducted at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, the Museum MMK of Modern Art, the Senckenberg Natural History Museum, the Oper Frankfurt (Frankfurt Opera), the Schauspiel Frankfurt (Frankfurt’s municipal theater company), the Artists’ House Mousonturm and the Produktionshaus Naxos (Naxos Production House), provide important insights for further cultural development planning and are now available for download at the following link: to the evaluation report.
