Workshop #7:

Cultural education for all age groups

27 April 2023 ∙ 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ∙ online

As a cross-sectional task of collaboration involving youth, cultural and educational work, cultural education plays an important role in both the development of individual personality and cultural participation. Various sponsors in the areas of culture, education, youth work and social work make specific offers with a great variety of formats for a wide range of target groups e.g., people in different stages of life and circumstances. In our seventh workshop, we will explore how we can enhance the visibility of various offers and promote networking among individual actors in the field of cultural education. We will also discuss possibilities for the participation of young people, further training for teachers and pedagogical professionals, as well as new event and mediation formats for senior citizens.

Key questions:

1st In your opinion, what should a platform accomplish to improve awareness of the various offers in the field of cultural education?

2nd How could a stronger networking strategy involving the many different participants in the field of cultural education be promoted? And with what goal?

3rd What approaches and formats do you think are particularly suitable for involving young people in the design and implementation of programmes for this target group?

4th From your point of view, which specific event and communication formats are particularly suitable for promoting the cultural participation of senior citizens?

5th In your opinion, what further training programmes for teachers and pedagogical professionals would be suitable in order to provide access to art and culture to as many children and young people as possible?
