News About Participation

Online survey

From May 4th to July 15th, 2022, cultural professionals from Frankfurt were invited to take part in an online survey on the future of the city’s cultural landscape. This enabled Frankfurt’s creative artists and other cultural professionals to participate in the Kulturentwicklungsplanung (cultural development planning) process even before the participation phase. The survey was aimed exclusively at professionals working in Frankfurt and the data is currently being viewed and evaluated. Once completed, we will make the results available here online.

Visitor Survey

As part of the cultural development planning, statistical data on visitors and wishes for the future of Frankfurt’s cultural landscape will be collected in select cultural institutions in the coming months. The surveys will initially take place at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, the Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst, and the Senckenberg Naturmuseum, and after the summer break also at the Frankfurt Opera, the Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm and the Produktionshaus Naxos.

kep.lab

In August and September 2022, the mobile information and survey format “kep.lab” took place at various locations in Frankfurt’s public spaces. Frankfurt’s citizens and cultural professionals were be able to find out about the current status and the next steps of the two-year planning and participation process and to contribute their ideas and wishes for the future of Frankfurt’s cultural landscape. In addition to information on the individual formats of Frankfurt’s cultural development planning and the opportunity to participate, interested citizens could enjoy a seasonal gastronomic offer as well as various DJ sets at the open-air events.
